Quality Engineer

Role Summary The Quality Engineer ensures the highest quality standards for our automotive products throughout the entire product lifecycle. This role is a key player in our quality team, responsible for quality assurance during new product launches, identifying and resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a deep understanding of quality systems and tools like IATF 16949 and APQP. You should be a proactive problem-solver, a collaborative team player, and an excellent communicator who is eager to contribute to our dynamic team. Description Our Quality Engineer is responsible for the following activities: Quality assurance to assigned launching program - Trial preparation, safe launch plan, internal auditing, etc. Identifies, reports, and tracks quality problems and/or trends Recommends and implements corrective actions and/or continuous improvement efforts with collaboration with the cross-functional team Participates and conducts scrap reduction programs Prepares quality documents - Control plans, PFMEA, capability studies, PPAP package submissions Interface with customer SQE Coordinate engineering change implementations with cross-functional team Lead response and investigation with customer claims and internal investigations While this position is not a people‑leading role, leadership and teamwork skills are desired in all candidates. Experience and Education 3-5 years’ experience in the automotive industry Knowledge of IATF 16949 and APQP requirements Understanding of GD&T and injection molding Familiarity with control plans, FMEA, process flow, 8D, SPC, poke yoke, and data collection/analysis Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field The ideal candidate would embody Self‑starter who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and contribute their own creativity, passion, and vision Not afraid to tackle challenges head‑on and eager for growth opportunities Enjoys contributing to a dynamic team on rewarding projects.
