Bellman Position
Position: Bellman
Department: Operations/Bellstand
Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)
Smile, greet and welcome guest
Load and unload luggage from bell cart
Accompany guest to room
Explain hotel amenities to guest
Secondary Responsibilities:
Answer bellstand telephone
Make room deliveries when necessary
Obtain transportation for guest
Maintain room key control
Shoe Shine and pickup/delivery
Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)
40 hours per week
Need to be available nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be available for overtime when needed
Subject to winter lay-off
Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
Prior hotel experience preferred
Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
Must be able to speak plainly and comfortably to guest
Able to speak clearly over the phone
Technical Requirements:
Must be able to learn layout of the hotel and location of all amenities
Drivers license required
