Role Overview As a Design Strategist at Envision Horizons, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day creative development and execution for a portfolio of marketplace brands, primarily on Amazon. This role combines strategic research, creative problem-solving, and exceptional design execution to develop high-performing content that strengthens brand presence and improves the customer shopping experience. Rather than simply designing from a creative brief, you’ll research your assigned brands, analyze competitors and customer behavior, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop thoughtful creative recommendations that support each brand’s objectives. You’ll partner closely with the Associate Creative Director and Creative Director, who provide the overall creative vision and direction for your portfolio, while collaborating with Account Managers to ensure creative aligns with broader client initiatives. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys taking ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently with clients and teammates, and is excited to blend creativity with strategy to drive measurable business results. How You’ll Make an Impact Research & Develop Creative Recommendations Become the day-to-day creative lead for an assigned portfolio of marketplace brands. Research customer behavior, competitor creative, category trends, and marketplace best practices to identify opportunities for creative optimization. Analyze customer reviews, product positioning, and brand messaging to develop informed creative recommendations. Present concepts and creative rationale that support each brand’s goals while aligning with guidance from Creative Leadership. Stay current on evolving marketplace trends, design best practices, and platform requirements. Design High-Performing Marketplace Creative Design Amazon Product Detail Page (PDP) imagery, infographics, A+ Content, Premium A+ Content, Brand Stores, Sponsored Brand assets, display creative, and other marketplace content. Translate business objectives into visually compelling customer experiences that balance brand storytelling with conversion-focused design. Ensure all creative meets Envision Horizons’ quality standards, brand guidelines, and marketplace specifications. Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining thoughtful design solutions and attention to detail. Own Your Brand Portfolio Serve as the primary day-to-day creative contact for your assigned brands. Partner with Account Managers to understand project priorities, business objectives, and client needs. Communicate project status, creative recommendations, timelines, and potential risks proactively. Build trusted relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and accountability. Plan & Manage Your Work Independently manage multiple brands, projects, and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional quality. Plan your workload effectively to meet deadlines across multiple content calendars and launches. Maintain accurate project documentation and task management within Asana. Collaborate Across Teams Partner with the Associate Creative Director and Creative Director to refine creative thinking and ensure work aligns with each brand’s long-term vision and performance goals. Collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to support broader account strategies. Participate in creative critiques, brainstorming sessions, and team reviews with an openness to both giving and receiving constructive feedback. Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing ideas, best practices, and marketplace insights. What Sets You Apart Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within eCommerce, retail, or Amazon marketplace environments. Strong portfolio demonstrating both exceptional visual design and thoughtful creative problem-solving. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma. Ability to conduct competitive research and translate customer insights into effective creative solutions. Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, hierarchy, and visual storytelling. Excellent organization, time management, and project prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting ideas to both internal teams and clients. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team. Experience designing Amazon PDPs, A+ Content, Brand Stores, Sponsored Brand creative, or similar eCommerce assets is strongly preferred. Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools, motion graphics, or video editing is a plus.
