About the Role:
We are seeking a FULL_TIME Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. As a Speech Language Pathologist with The Springs of Fort Smith, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech language pathology services to our residents. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Provide speech language pathology services to residents in skilled nursing facilities
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Document resident progress and maintain accurate records
Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech language pathology
Requirements:
Minimum 0 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Arkansas
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and guidelines
