Associate Accountant

Job Description This is an entry-level accounting position with a Cincinnati based consulting and public accounting firm. The is a full-time position that affords a great deal of responsibility and client interaction, as well as exposure to a wide variety of engagements. The associate accountant will be responsible for the following: Prepare tax returns for a diversified client base (Individual, LLC, partnership, corporation, etc.), including federal, states and cities; process year-end payroll and other tax forms for clients. Assist in the preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements under GAAP and other accepted accounting methods. Researching IRS regulation and GAAP Guidelines as appropriate. Assist to develop budgets for clients for the upcoming accounting period; prepare budgets versus actual and financial ratios analysis. Keep books for companies, includes but not limited to data entry, AP/AR processing, depreciation schedules, bank and credit card reconciliation. Resolve issues from notices received from IRS and state local departments of income taxation Position requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
