Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring a minimum of 5 years of dedicated PICU and cardiac experience with an active CA RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital PICU setting in Oakland, CA
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated PICU experience (non-float) required
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
• BSN preferred

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as traveling candidates
• Travelers who have previously worked with this health system may be subject to a mandatory 90-day break before returning, depending on prior assignment history — cumulative assignments cannot exceed two years without a qualifying break
