The department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) is seeking to hire Staff Assistant I.What Makes GSU a Great Place? A rapidly growing center within an academic setting.Here Is What You Will Do: Opening of the department reception area and clinic for student clinicians promptly at 8:00am Monday-Friday. Greet and assist clients as needed within the clinic waiting area. Answer phones in a timely, courteous manner. Assist student clinicians with retrieving proper assessments for therapy/diagnostic clients. Schedule clients for diagnostic/audiology services. Complete correspondence and mailings to clients. Preferred Hiring Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing administrative or front desk role Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with a diverse student population. Good organizational skills, attention to detail; ability to multitask and prioritize.
