Job Description

North Alabama Bone and Joint Clinic (NABJC) is a trusted orthopaedic leader serving North Alabama with comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care delivered by a collaborative, high-performing team.

We are seeking an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join our established private practice with strong regional demand and immediate volume. This is a unique opportunity to build a sustainable, well-supported upper extremity practice within a respected organization that has served the community for over 40 years.

Regular Workers Compensation cases
No microsurgery or replant required
General Orthopaedic Call

Practice Scope

Distal humerus to fingertip surgery
Simple and complex fracture care
Arthroplasty and arthroscopy
Tendon and nerve repair/transfers
Bread-and-butter hand procedures (carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, trigger finger)
Optional shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty based on interest

There is significant demand for hand and upper extremity services in the region, offering strong volume potential and long-term career stability, and regular Workers Compensation cases.

Education & Qualifications

BC/BE in Orthopaedic Surgery and Hand Surgery
Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery
Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license
Excellent communication skills
Patient-focused, collaborative team player
