Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Mammo Tech Hours: Day Shift: (1.0) FTE Schedule: M-F; Rotating Saturdays Location: MacNeal Hospital & North Riverside Satellite location Requires Screening, Diagnostic & procedures to be performed. *New Mammo graduates welcome to apply* About the Job In this role, the Mammo Technologist will perform mammography in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and/or treatment of medical disorders; performs related clerical and serviced duties. Here is what you'll need Required Specific Degree(s): Mammography, Radiologic Technology 1-2 years of previous job-related experience Associate's degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education Licensure/Certifications Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) American Heart Association (AHA) only Registered Radiographic Technologist Registered Radiographic Technologist (Mammography) Preferred Other: All mammography technologists are required to maintain at least 15 category 1 CEU's direct mammography continuing education hours within a 36-month period. Must be able to perform 200 exams within a 24-month period. 40 hours of training in mammography. 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of MQSA-qualified individual. Pa y Range: $34.00 – $57.00 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
