The X-ray/Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires precise technical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality X-ray and radiologic procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocol.
- Ensure patient positioning, safety, and comfort during imaging processes.
- Operate imaging equipment accurately, maintaining calibration and safety standards.
- Document procedures thoroughly and maintain detailed patient records.
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
- License as a Radiologic Technologist in Ohio, with a valid ARRT certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in X-ray/radiology procedures.
- Must obtain Ohio state license prior to start date.
- Active BLS certification required.
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques, patient safety, and radiation protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
