Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and implement prescribed respiratory care plans.
- Administer therapy, including inhaled medications, oxygen, airway clearance techniques, and aerosolized treatments.
- Manage and monitor ventilator support and other critical respiratory equipment; respond to changes in patient status.
- Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases (ABG) and document results in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; communicate findings and adjust treatments as needed.
- Document care delivery accurately and provide patient and family education on therapies and safety.

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with NBRC and Georgia licensure issued by the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care within the specialty.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a travel assignment as described.
- Prior hospital-based respiratory care experience preferred.
