Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurse position based in Pittsburgh, PA. This flexible night shift opportunity involves providing specialized patient care on a telemetry, orthopedics, and trauma unit, managing adolescent and adult patient populations, including cardiac drips, joint care, wounds, chest tubes, Halo devices, traction, pin care, and neurosurgical patients. The role spans a 13-week assignment, offering valuable experience in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid PA or Compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 13 years of clinical experience, 12-day night shifts, minimum of 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing cardiac drips, trauma or orthopedic care, neurosurgical patient experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescent and adult patients, across a telemetry/orthopedic/trauma unit. Responsibilities include managing complex medical conditions, wound care, and neurological patients, with specific competencies in cardiac monitoring and trauma procedures.
