Job Details:
Schedule: Shift Time Zone - Must be able to cover the following M-F shifts
530am – 230pm EST
600am – 300pm EST
630am – 330pm EST
Saturday’s rotations will be staffed at the TTV Titusville site 6:00am – 12:00pm EST

Location: Titusville FL 32796
Job Type: local contract
Contract Length: 4 months + Contract to Possible
Pay Range: $22.79/HR TO $24.41/HR
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using straight and butterfly needles.
Collect, label, process, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to established procedures.
Verify patient information, physician orders, requisitions, and specimen labels for accuracy.
Explain blood draw and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
Maintain specimen integrity by following proper storage, temperature, transportation, and handling protocols.
Perform equipment maintenance, decontamination, recordkeeping, and patient information updates.
Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and complete required annual department training.
Answer telephone inquiries and provide laboratory results as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 Year of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
Valid state phlebotomy certification where required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
2–4 years of experience listed as preferred/required in the posting.
