Qualifications Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of current computer software and office equipment. Good communication skills in dealing with pupils, parents, school staff, and the public in general. Ability to work well with others. Reports to Administrator/Supervisor Job Goal Perform office duties to the best of your ability, and be knowledgeable in all matters pertaining to your office/department. Performance Responsibilities Specialized Office Positions Compose and handle routine correspondence as directed. Perform office tasks as needed. Demonstrate skills in all current office equipment. Answer telephone/switchboard and receive visitors. Demonstrate trustworthiness with respect to confidential matters. Transcribe dictation as needed. Arrange teacher coverage with substitutes. Support Principal's secretary in all assigned work. Perform all other duties as assigned. General Office Responsibilities Receiving visitors, mail, answering phone, scheduling meetings, e-mail, copying, faxing, scanning, laminating, filing, internet research, supplies and inventory. Willing to be re-assigned to other areas when needed. Terms of Employment Full-time; Twelve (12) months, July 1 to June 30. Experience Prior office experience preferred.
