As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Carson City, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations by verifying credentials, observing site activity, and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
• Support emergency and routine operations by assisting with alarms, escorts, incident reporting, and coordination with law enforcement and/or first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A private investigator license unarmed is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
