Job Responsibilities Promptly address any safety issues or incidents. Manage and track attendance, vacation, PTO etc Keep up on any needed performance management. Responsible for staffing and training plans within line(s) for assigned shift. Daily touchpoints with line associates to support the Run to Excellence program. This includes but is not limited to Safety, Quality, AM defect tagging, 5S, CILTs, Centerlining, TPM, breakdowns, and top losses. - ESOs Provide regular, timely, and specific feedback to associates in addition to monthly formal 1:1's Ensure an open flow of communication exists between production associates and management. Represent concerns of production associates to management, as well as management concerns to production associates. Support timely resolution of issues on the line, demonstrating servant leadership and adhering to BD Values. Proactively anticipate and address problems before they impact production. Prepare and run Tier 1 production meeting and ensure alignment with the Line Centric Organization (LCO) team. Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices. Works with associates to resolve employee relations issues and concerns; involves HR when needed. Ensure the Pit Stops and CILTs are executed as expected and daily targets, goals and issues are updated on the Tier 1 boards. Ensures that all line resources are properly focused to support any quality or line issues as they occur. This includes prioritizing and leading proper root cause investigation and containment as problems arise. Required to spend 100% of their time out on the production floor except for when required to attend necessary meetings or hold performance related conversations with associates. Communicate results and escalate issues to the Line Leader. Responsible for accurate material management, work order set up, reconciliation, and cycle counts as needed. Conduct daily batch reviews (DHRs). Ensure accuracy of quality checks and work order documentation. (Prevent and resolve QDNs for your lines) Work daily in collaboration with all support roles and functions, including Quality, Maintenance, and others as necessary. Build a strong cross-functioning team. Coordinates headcount and ensures sampling is supported as needed on their lines and in support of other lines in the department (This includes sampling, block stock, EWO's, validation, rework). Lead requalification efforts for their assigned lines. Support quality inspections through shift for your assigned lines, or delegate as needed. Perform other duties as required to support the needs of the business. Education Required: High School Diploma/GED Preferred: BA/BS Degree Science, Industrial management, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. Manufacturing Experience High School Diploma/GED 3 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment required. BA/BS 1 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment required. 1 year of people leadership experience preferred.
