If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in our client's 36-bed Emergency Department, serving approximately 59,000 patients annually.

As an Emergency Department RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages. You will be responsible for rapid assessment, prioritization, intervention, and evaluation of patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions. Your strong critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills will be essential as you work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions
• Triage patients using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate care
• Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to hospital policy and provider orders
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and ventilators
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, EMS personnel, and other healthcare team members
• Coordinate patient care, including diagnostic testing, re-evaluation, disposition planning, and patient education
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
• Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols as required
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and hospital standards
• Support a culture of patient-centered care, empathy, and service excellence in a high-volume ED environment

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork ability
• Competency in trauma care, cardiac care, and stabilizing critically ill patients
• Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations
