Overview
Laboratory Technologist (Medical Technologist) travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date: 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,607–$1,725 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Night shift, 10:30 pm–7:00 am, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week, with every 4th weekend. Work in a hospital laboratory setting performing clinical testing on patient specimens. This assignment is a travel temporary role through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis on patient specimens across designated modalities.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain automated and manual laboratory instruments; perform quality control and instrument troubleshooting as needed.
- Process and aliquot specimens, ensure proper accessioning, and accurately document results in the LIS/LAB system.
- Interpret and verify test results, report findings to clinicians per SOPs, and participate in result validation as applicable.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards; follow regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely turnaround of tests and communication of any critical values.

Requirements
- Min of 2 years of recent experience within the medical laboratory specialty
- Certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS required
- Experience in a clinic laboratory setting preferred
- Must be able to work night shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am) with every 4th weekend
- The role is intended for Med Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist; Med Lab Technician will not be considered
- Ability to perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment
