Overview

Join our dynamic team in a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room featuring 18 surgical beds. We perform a wide variety of surgeries including General Surgery, Robotic Procedures, Laparoscopic Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, Gynecology, and Transplant. As an Operating Room RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care during surgical procedures.

Shift Details

• Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)
• Floating: Required to float to different units as needed
• On-Call: Required during specified hours
• Weekend Shifts: 3 shifts per 13 weeks as needed
• Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care during surgical procedures.
• Circulate, with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC and holds BCLS certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns.
• Experience in at least two of the following service lines: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, or Robotics.

Patient Demographics

Work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily Volume

Manage a daily census of 45-50 surgical procedures.

Additional Information

Successful candidates must demonstrate experience with ophthalmology and liver transplant to qualify. Experience in additional specialized surgical procedures is also advantageous.
