Customer Service Representative

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused *Customer Service Representative* to join a high-volume call center team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer inquiries related to prior authorizations, account information, and general support requests while maintaining confidentiality and providing exceptional service.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously, and are committed to delivering accurate and professional customer support.
Responsibilities
* Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls and occasional outbound follow-up calls.
* Assist customers with prior authorization inquiries, account questions, and other service-related concerns.
* Accurately document customer interactions and update information across multiple systems.
* Maintain confidentiality while discussing sensitive customer information.
* Research and resolve customer issues while ensuring a positive customer experience.
* Meet quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations in a performance-driven environment.
* Navigate multiple applications and databases simultaneously during customer interactions.
* Follow established procedures and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
* Minimum of *1 year of recent call center experience* within the last 2-3 years.
* Strong tenure and demonstrated stability in previous positions.
* Ability to manage *50-100 calls per day*, depending on call complexity.
* Typing speed of *30+ WPM*.
* Strong computer proficiency and experience navigating multiple systems.
* Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy when entering customer information.
Preferred Experience
* Customer service experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
* Experience working with CRM systems and customer databases.
* Familiarity with handling confidential customer information.
Required Assessments Candidates must successfully complete:

* *Typing Test:* Minimum 30 WPM
* *Call Center Telephone Skills Assessment:* Minimum score of 75%
Interview Questions Candidates should be prepared to discuss:

* A time they used multiple computer systems during a customer interaction.
* How they learned a new CRM, database, or customer service platform.
* Their approach to maintaining accuracy while multitasking in a fast-paced call center environment.

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
