Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community Habilitation

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc New York) is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dependable people to join our team as a part-time Community Habilitation Direct Support Professional (DSP) . In this rewarding role, you'll work one-on-one with people we support, helping them build confidence, gain independence, and achieve their personal goals while actively participating in their communities.

Every day is different. You might help someone learn how to cook a favorite meal, manage their budget, navigate appointments, develop household skills, or build meaningful relationships. You'll also support people in exploring their interests and enjoying community experiences such as local events, museums, parks, theaters, shopping trips, and recreational activities.

Pay Rate: $18.00-$19.00 for PART-TIME hours and based on experience!

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

Part-time Monday - Friday

Hours are flexible but typically between 8 am - 4 pm

Hours per week: 20 - 25 hours

Location: Penn Yan, Yates County

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License is required.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimally one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field is required.
