With our 85% drop-and-hook van network of repeat customer freight, we consistently see our drivers run between 2,600 and 3,300+ miles per week. Not only that, but all our company drivers and owner-operators get home every weekend and still achieve top miles.

Driver Pay

Pay is based on experience, with a per-mile base rate plus a productivity bonus that increases with weekly mileage.

8+ Years Experience: $0.50/mile base + bonus

2,000+ miles/week: $0.51/mile
2,250+ miles/week: $0.52/mile
2,500+ miles/week: $0.53/mile
2,750+ miles/week: $0.54/mile
3,000+ miles/week: $0.55/mile

5–7 Years Experience: $0.48/mile base + bonus

2,000+ miles/week: $0.49/mile
2,250+ miles/week: $0.50/mile
2,500+ miles/week: $0.51/mile
2,750+ miles/week: $0.52/mile
3,000+ miles/week: $0.53/mile

2–4 Years Experience: $0.46/mile base + bonus

2,000+ miles/week: $0.47/mile
2,250+ miles/week: $0.48/mile
2,500+ miles/week: $0.49/mile
2,750+ miles/week: $0.50/mile
3,000+ miles/week: $0.51/mile

Additional Pay & Bonuses

Semi-annual safety bonus
Driver of the month bonus
Extra per-mile pay for trips under 250 miles

For drivers that don't want or need to be home every weekend, these drivers have the option to stay out and take an approved 34-hour restart on the road. Drivers earn an extra $100 for every approved restart on the road. That extra $100 is an extra 3 to 4 cents per mile in earnings for the week.

Armstrong Transportation is based in Memphis and currently only runs in TX, LA, AR, MS, TN, AL, MO, OH, IN and KY, so even drivers that stay out will get by home periodically since they will come through Memphis on a regular basis.

$250 orientation pay
$1,000 sign-on bonus paid in 2 installments
Safety bonus paid in January and July
Higher per-mile pay for trips under 250 miles

REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years of recent CDL-A experience
25+ years of age
Excellent PSP and MVR
No felony convictions, DUI or drug charges
Steady employment history
