We are looking for people who want to do the best work of their lives while building the future of tech.The Role:We're looking for a senior backend engineer with previous experience architecting internal developer/infrastructure platforms and programming against hyperscaler and k8s APIs. We build our backend with Go (previous experience not required but is a plus).You will:Own our infrastructure management systemStay up to date on the latest in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes and DevOps best-practicesRaise the standard for code quality and our engineering cultureSome of the technical challenges we face:Design infrastructure architecture that "just works", whether you are a seed-stage company or post-IPO (and doesn't cost an arm and a leg)Maintain internal cloud-agnostic infrastructure APIs to allow our users to seamlessly switch cloudsContinually integrate the newest developments released by hyperscalers so that our users always benefit from the latest and greatestEnsure Porter-native infrastructure remains compatible with other cloud services, regardless of whether we incorporate them into our management systemWhat we offerTop-of-market compensation that grows with the companyMedical, vision, dental insurance401k6 weeks of PTO, 6 weeks of remote workFree lunch and office snacksThis role is in-person in NYC.Interested?
