Sr. DevOps Engineer - AWS

Salary: $109,700 - 115,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 7+ years of core DevOps and cloud experience, with a strong background in cloud architecture, CI/CD, microservices, and automation.
• Prior team leadership experience is a strong advantage.
• You should have expert-level knowledge of AWS native services, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and practical production experience with EKS.
• Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is important.
• We need solid database and scripting skills, including experience with MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, and automation using Python, Node.js, Shell, or Java.
• Strong observability experience is required, including setting up enterprise monitoring with tools such as New Relic, CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK stacks.
• You should bring a builder mindset, a strong bias for action, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.

• Lead the hands-on migration from AWS ECS (Fargate) to Kubernetes (EKS) while building high-scale infrastructure across AWS, with exposure to GCP and Azure multi-cloud environments.
• Design and automate Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible, and build streamlined CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, and Artifactory.
• Develop custom New Relic dashboards, configure CloudWatch, lead root-cause analyses, and track SLOs across environments to address P1-P3 operational issues.
• Optimize high-traffic database layers such as MongoDB and DocumentDB, while embedding security patching, vulnerability scanning, and deployment safety controls into our pipelines.
• Collaborate within a close-knit team of 20+ engineers, take ownership of technical initiatives, and mentor team members through daily alignment syncs.
