Position Overview 12-week contract

Pediatrics Endoscopy Cataracts - Lodging: $135/daily Car rental: $250/weekly - 8-hour shifts In-house call: needed Weekend call: needed Weeknight call: needed OT expected: no - OR rooms: 2 No CRNA supervision MD's doing their own cases EMR system: EPIC This is a 2-site ASC with Cataracts and Endoscopy (low risk)

Anesthesiologist - Responsibilities

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the anesthesia department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Anesthesiologist - Requirements

• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Virginia.
• Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
• Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent.
