Snack Innovations is a leading manufacturer of better-for-you salty snack food located in Piscataway NJ. We produce a wide range of snack chips, sticks, straws, curls and popcorn.

We are seeking a highly organized Manufacturing Support Coordinator to support day-to-day administrative and operational activities at our Piscataway, New Jersey manufacturing facility. This role is built for someone who understands a production environment, pays close attention to product and packaging details, and can keep vendor information, purchase orders, materials, and deadlines organized and moving forward.

Core Responsibilities

Packaging & Product Documentation

• Review product information, packaging details, specifications, and related documents for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized packaging records, product information, spreadsheets, files, and internal documentation
• Review new packaging when ordered or received against approved information and promptly escalate discrepancies or concerns
• Assist with forms, reports, labels, and other documentation needed to support manufacturing and packaging activities

Vendor, Purchasing & Timeline Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding purchase orders, timelines, shipments, deliveries, and outstanding information
• Track purchase orders, materials, shipments, and status updates against production needs and established deadlines
• Follow up consistently on open items to help ensure required materials and deliverables remain on schedule
• Identify and escalate delays, missing information, or other issues that could affect production or packaging timelines

Manufacturing & Administrative Support

• Provide administrative and coordination support to Operations, Procurement, and other manufacturing teams
• Assist with cross-functional projects and coordinate information among internal departments
• Attend meetings, document updates and action items, and communicate follow-up information to the appropriate team members
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on assigned activities, open items, and deadlines
• Manage multiple priorities while responding to changing production and business needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is required
• Experience in food manufacturing, packaging, consumer packaged goods, or a closely related environment strongly preferred
• Previous administrative, purchasing, procurement, vendor coordination, or operational support experience preferred
• Experience tracking purchase orders, materials, shipments, vendor timelines, or production-related deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-up, and recordkeeping skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with purchasing, inventory, or ERP systems preferred
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable identifying and escalating potential problems
• Ability to work on-site in Piscataway, New Jersey
