Associate Echocardiograph Technologist - Providence Alaska Medical Center

Description We are hiring for Associate Echocardiograph Technologist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Position is Full Time, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift, 36 hours per week. Under general supervision of the Operations Manager, Senior Echo sonographers and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients. Reviews results and arranges reports for physician review. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited Echo sonography program. Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Or Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
