MRI Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology and is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI machines, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with physicians to ensure timely diagnostic imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to enhance comfort.
• Document all procedures while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform patient care tasks as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of experience in MRI technology.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is mandatory.
• Certification through ARRT or a similar organization is preferred and must be obtained after starting.
• Familiarity with conducting all non-contrast exams, routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI.

Schedule

The MRI Technologist position is full-time, requiring 40 hours of work for the first two weeks prior to transitioning into a solo weekend shift. Flexibility is essential, with day and evening shifts as necessary during orientation. Weekend shifts will be scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7:30 pm, with no call duties.
