Registered Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with orthodontic experience to join our patient-focused team in San Diego. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where quality care and team growth are priorities.

Job DescriptionAssist orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficient workflow.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Provide support during pediatric dental treatments with a caring approach.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and charting.
Keep workspace clean and organized, adhering to infection control protocols.
Manage patient interactions with professionalism and empathy.
Salary Rangefull-time $25 - $29 per hour

Shift & ScheduleMonday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:45 PM
Friday to Sunday: Closed
Requirements- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Certified Orthodontic Assistant
- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
Active Registered Dental Assistant (R.D.A.) license in California.
Current CPR certification.
Experience in orthodontic assisting.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Dependable, organized, and a cooperative team member.
PreferencesExperience working with pediatric patients.
Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and HIPAA regulations.
Proficiency in workflow and operations management.
