Employment Attorney

NorthITE

About the job

This is a California plaintiff side employment law firm representing employees in matters involving wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, sexual harassment, and wage and hour violations.

Our firm regularly litigates complex employment matters, including wage and hour class actions and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).

We are seeking a Experienced/Senior Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2–5 years of experience in California employment law , be capable of independently handling cases at all stages of litigation , and be ready to take on and manage a full caseload . This role will involve handling all aspects of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, written discovery, law and motion practice, depositions, mediation briefs, and trial preparation.

This position will initially be fully remote. In July 2026, the position will transition to an in-office role when the firm moves into its new office located in Los Angeles.

A hybrid work arrangement after the in-office transition may be negotiable for the right candidate.

We are a growing firm that values a healthy work-life balance and provides meaningful opportunities for attorneys to grow with the firm as our practice continues to expand. Our firm culture is collaborative and supportive, offering a more personable and family-oriented environment as opposed to a rigid corporate setting.

The firm has experienced significant growth and has resolved employment cases resulting in millions of dollars in settlements over the past several months alone. We are looking to continue expanding our team, and the attorney who joins the firm will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the firm grows, including the potential to supervise and manage other attorneys.

Preferred experience includes wage and hour litigation, particularly class actions and PAGA matters. Experience with FEHA claims such as wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment is also strongly preferred.

Requirements:

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing

• Minimum 2–5 years of California employment litigation experience

• Ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and law and motion

Compensation includes a competitive salary, depending on experience, with the potential for performance-based bonuses and a commission structure. The firm also covers California State Bar dues.

Equal opportunity employer and considers applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected status under applicable law.
