Health Program Coordinator

The Health Program Coordinator serves as the lead specialist overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs for the Arkansas Department of Health. This position provides programmatic leadership and technical guidance to Health Program Specialists and staff while ensuring alignment with state public health goals and federal/state regulations. The role requires strong public health expertise, program management skills, and frequent in-state travel, with supervisory experience required. Key qualifications Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or closely related field Two years of experience in public health, program coordination, or health education Strong understanding of public health principles, program planning, and evaluation methods Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license and ability to work 24/7 in emergencies Supervisory experience required #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
