Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,405 per week

Job Summary Portland, Oregon A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position focused on Phase II PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) and Pre-Operative services is available. The role involves working in inpatient settings with responsibilities including arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, and monitoring of ventilated patients. Job Details Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Schedule: Days, 10 hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid license, at least 1 year of experience in inpatient pre‑op and Phase II PACU, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, and experience with arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, narcotics/opioid analgesics, reversal agents, external ventricular drain (EVD), ICP (Intracranial Pressure) monitoring, care of ventilated patients, conscious sedation, post‑epidural management, spinal, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), nerve blocks, pain assessment & management, PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia) pump management, and Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale (RASS). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient acute care units; experience with EPIC EMR. Float: Float rotation may be required to other units based on facility needs. Candidates with a vehicle are required for this assignment. Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a community hospital setting. The role involves floating between units and sister facilities nearby. Flexibility for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) is required. All scheduling requests, including specific RTO (Request for Time Off), must be made during submission. Candidates must answer a submission screening question regarding previous work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering one year within the last three years. Post-Start Requirements: Must include response to whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility and details if applicable. No call‑in is permitted unless scheduled and communicated properly. Additional Notes: A vehicle is mandatory for this role, and communication devices will be provided by the client or reimbursed. The candidate will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bills if the device is not provided. Modules required during orientation are non-billable and are approximately 16 hours in duration.
