Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description Position Summary The LPN provides direct patient care in a detoxification setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), supporting safe and effective withdrawal management in a compassionate environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the RN in delivering patient care and implementing treatment plans
- Monitor vital signs and withdrawal symptoms; report changes promptly
- Administer medications as prescribed within scope of practice
- Document patient care, observations, and medication administration
- Support patient safety and respond to emergencies as directed
- Provide basic patient education under RN guidance
- Active LPN license
- Accredited practical nursing program completion
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Behavioral health or detox experience preferred
