Direct Support Professional (Day Program)

Job Overview We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Newton, NJ. The DSP will work with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting. Responsibilities Ensure safety and health of participants. Supervise, coach, and assist participants in daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Plan, implement, and document programs to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs. Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings. Schedule and transport participants to and from the day program. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid non‑provisional driver’s license. Minimum 18 years of age. Available to attend a 10‑day paid onsite orientation. Empathetic, team‑oriented approach to care. Offer Starting salary $20.42 per hour, increases with education/experience.
