- Must have PMP or similar PM certification
- 7+ years as Project Manager (Digital Marketing, Creative/Design, or Digital Media ) independently track and monitor project tasks efficiently and effectively (job titles Digital Marketing Project Manager, Digital Media Project Manager)
- Experience as a PM with change management , process mgmt., intake of projects, task mgmt.,
- "Must have PM experience in creative or design or digital media or marketing environment - not just a Tech PM"
- Strong understanding of PM methodologies
- Experience with Asana , AND Figma tools ...
- No Program Managers , that would be too high level
JOB DESCRIPTION Scope of Interface & Influence
- Engage with individuals on multiple tasks
- Effectively engages and is sought out as a thought partner with stakeholders at the Sr. Manager+ levels for their area of expertise & responsibility
- Takes action on multiple tasks tied to outcomes
- Impacts the performance of multiple workstreams tied to an outcome
- You are able to recognize the presence of ambiguity and can navigate it effectively with some direction
- Your Manager provides scoping of work and a moderate level of direction on your deliverables
- You know when to ask for clarification when faced with ambiguous situations
- You produce high quality work, with a moderate to high level of direction from leadership
- Your scope of influence spans across your team's work and outcomes
- You drive quantifiable impact on the performance of multiple parts of your team or workstreams (e.g., team OKR)
- You accomplish routine tasks and accept more complex tasks; the quality of your work is high (requires some supervision and feedback)
- You contribute to team-wide initiatives and outcomes
- You help to onboard new team members.
- You maintain a positive culture and drives Databricks Culture Principles
- You build and mature internal working relationships
- You are able to work independently on basic project management tools - Asana
- You are able to independently track and monitor project tasks efficiently and effectively
- You effectively and efficiently organize and document projects tasks independently
- You have a strong understanding of organizational priorities and where individual deliverables may fall relative to others
- You demonstrate good project management skills, including creation of project plan, identification and efficient follow-up of action items and timelines, clear communication, and solid execution
- You establish yourself as a developing expert in at least one operations program
- You offer domain expertise to other team members, cross functional partners, and external parties as necessary (e.g., creates process documentation, leads training sessions)
