Construction Estimator

About the Role
Seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support building and civil construction projects throughout the Central U.S. region. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience, knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to develop accurate project cost estimates across all project phases.
Pay: $48.00- $72.00 per hour DOEResponsibilities

• Develop capital cost estimates for construction projects.
• Review contractor proposals and change orders.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and work breakdown structures.
• Maintain project records and estimating documentation.
• Attend project meetings and support project teams.
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor scope development.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-10 years of estimating and construction experience in building and civil construction.
• Experience with MS Office, Sage Timberline, MII Estimating Software, and BlueBeam.
• Understanding of cost, risk, and schedule relationships.
• Alternative delivery procurement experience preferred.
• General contracting background preferred.
• CEP, CCP, PMP, or CCM certifications are a plus.
• Minimal travel required.
