About Our Hospital At VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital, you’ll join a collaborative 5‑doctor team focused on general practice and preventive care. The Role As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive client experience. What You’ll Do Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post‑operative recovery Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM Collect samples and perform in‑house laboratory diagnostics Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records And more!
