Salary Range: $82,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Ludington seeking IATF Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain IATF 16949 compliant quality management systems.
• Lead and conduct internal and external IATF 16949 audits, including supplier audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using core tools like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch activities to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and report on quality performance.
• Provide training and support to personnel on IATF 16949 requirements and quality tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Demonstrated experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CSSBB) are a plus.
