As a Security Professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control, respond to alarms, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. This is a driving post. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.22 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License
  Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).

• Age Requirement
  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101).

• Access Control/Badge Experience
  Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).

• Alarm Panel Experience
  Candidates must have experience operating alarm panels (B202).

• Computer/Tablet Proficiency
  Candidates should be comfortable using computers or tablets for daily tasks (B204).

• Customer Service Experience
  Candidates must have prior experience in customer service roles (B219).

• Physical Requirements
  Candidates should be able to lift more than 20 lbs (B209).

• Loss Prevention Experience
  Candidates with experience in loss prevention will be given preference (B210).

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access control activities, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Observe for unusual conditions, potential hazards, or unauthorized activity and promptly report concerns to appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
