Metrology Technician

We are seeking a Metrology Technician with experience in dimensional inspection and precision measurement for medical device components. The ideal candidate will be skilled in contact and non-contact metrology, blueprint interpretation with GD&T, and advanced optical measurement systems. Roles and Responsibilities Perform dimensional inspections using contact and non-contact metrology equipment. Develop and execute inspection programs on OGP SmartScope systems. Operate Keyence optical profilometer, optical comparators, digital microscopes, and white light scanning systems. Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications. Collect, analyze, and document measurement data to ensure product quality. Collaborate with engineering teams to determine inspection methods and resolve measurement issues. Use precision hand tools including micrometers, calipers, and other gages. Follow laboratory safety procedures, including handling regulated materials when required. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience with contact and non-contact metrology inspection. Proficiency in OGP SmartScope programming and operation. Hands-on experience with Keyence optical profilometers and white light scanning systems. Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. Experience using optical comparators, digital microscopes, micrometers, calipers, and hand gages. Good understanding of trigonometry and precision measurement principles.
