Parton's Live Food Runner

Herschend is seeking an enthusiastic and hospitable Food Runner to add to our restaurant operation team for our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate is driven to provide excellent dining experiences for our guests through proper steps of service and maintain a great work environment for our fellow hosts and vendors at Parton's Live, a 114‑seat listening room on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Summary of Essential Functions & Responsibilities Checks with Manager for daily objectives Assist service and kitchen team by bringing complete food orders from the kitchen to the dining room. Serve food to the guests following the trained guidelines. Open and close Food Runner station efficiently Clear and reset tables as needed Inspect dining room for cleanliness Provide excellent dining experiences for our guests through proper steps of service Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes Must be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management Participate in daily line ups Practice service standards and current training throughout service Qualifications Must be able to obtain Food Handler certification Must be at least 18 years old Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred Must pass a pre‑employment background check Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
