Business Analysis Manager - Payments - Vice President

Help drive the future by delivering data-driven strategy and partnering firmwide to accelerate profitability as we redefine and strengthen relationships with leading network partners across fees, rules, products, interchange, and merchant performance.As a Business Analysis Manager in the Payment Network Office’s Strategy and Analytics team, you will be accountable for providing data-driven strategic insights that help drive our international Network strategy. This includes topics such as network fees, rules, new products, interchange, merchant profitability, and merchant sales trends. You will also partner across the firm on strategic initiatives that directly drive profitability. The Payment Networks Office is at the nexus of these exciting developments by redefining our relationships with our Network partners (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, etc.).Job responsibilities Analyzing consumer, merchant, network, and industry data; helping to solve problems and making recommendations for actionInfluencing and shaping strategy international Network strategyValidating data; Identifying underlying causes of data discrepanciesArticulating insights to senior managementOptimizing existing data environments and creating new datasetsProactively identifying ways to improve processes and proceduresCreating new python scripts to automate operational processes Utilizing AI Agents to help with processing data and automating workflowsDriving an environment of risk controls; escalating issues to senior management as neededUnderstanding the payments industry and staying abreast of current market environment and trendsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5 + years of experience in data analytics and modeling skills, including strong proficiency with ExcelSuperior attention to details and process / project management skillsStrong presentation (oral and written) skills.
