  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' unique mental health needs.

  • Provide supportive counseling to individuals, couples, and groups, addressing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in adherence to ethical guidelines and legal standards.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and continuous learning to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at North East Alliance Health Systems, you will work with diverse populations, including low-income families and individuals facing significant barriers to accessing mental health care. You will play a crucial role in empowering clients by providing them with the tools they need for personal development and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • \n
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
  • \n
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse client base.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and basic technology tools for virtual counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
