Assess and diagnose mentalhealth conditions.
Develop treatment plansincluding medication and therapy.
Provide counseling andsupport to patients and families.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Completion of residency inpsychiatry.
Board certification inpsychiatry.
Strong interpersonal skillsfor patient interaction.
Good communication andcounseling abilities.
