American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for an acute care hospital setting, requiring ARRT certification and the ability to work across general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR environments on steady afternoon and midnight shifts. Details

Acute care hospital radiology department with 4 rooms: 3 general X-ray, 1 fluoro, plus 2 portables and 3 C-arms Staffing levels include 6–7 techs on days, 3–4 on evenings, and 1 tech on midnights Studies and procedures include general X-ray, OR cases (cystos, ortho, GI), and fluoro cases (ortho and GI) Average of approximately 110 studies per day across the department Equipment includes OEC C-arms, GE AMX portables with DR-Konica, and diagnostic room equipment from Del Medical, Siemens, and Philips EMR: Cerner (Community Works); PACS: Intellirad/Intelliconnect Steady afternoon and midnight shifts; 4x10-hour shifts per week Every other weekend required Float coverage required between general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist Current ARRT certification and BLS required WV X-ray license required if applicable Proficiency in general X-ray, portables, fluoroscopy, and OR (surgery) required Experience with C-arms, portable X-ray units, and fluoroscopy equipment required Cerner EMR experience preferred Driver's license copy required for consideration Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information

Perform general X-ray studies, portable exams, OR cases, and fluoroscopy procedures Radiologist is on-site until 5:00 PM; on-call after hours with VRad covering remote interpretation from 2:00 AM–6:00 AM Techs may be the sole technologist on-site overnight Imaging Director and Manager are available M–F during daylight hours and reachable by phone at all times; a lead tech is present on most afternoon shifts Orientation consists of 5 shifts with a preceptor Holiday rotation coverage may be required Any color scrubs are acceptable as long as they are clean and professional; permanent staff wear Emerald Green (optional for travelers to match) WV CARES registration is required prior to start First-time travelers will be considered for this position Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being eligible to apply; cumulative experience applies and travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one year total before a 2-year break is required 2 professional references are required for consideration, including at least 1 supervisor reference American Traveler Job ID #P-705996.
