About the Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 90-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Oct 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient management within an emergency department, covering a dynamic schedule with various shift options including day, evening, and overnight. The Physician will be responsible for a wide array of emergency procedures, providing critical care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform moderate sedation.
• Manage central lines.
• Conduct bedside ultrasound examinations.
• Execute nasotracheal intubation.
• Perform thoracentesis.
• Insert chest tubes.
• Administer rapid sequence intubation.
• Perform minor laceration repairs.
• Apply splinting.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine
• EMR System: Epic
• Setting: Emergency Department, with available services including ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Cath Lab, ICU, and a pediatric observation unit. Tele Stroke services are also accessible.
• Call Schedule: An average of 4 admissions occur while on call.
• Requirements: Our client facility is not a trauma center and does not have residents.
