As a Stylist, you are responsible for serving clients in a friendly, professional way, with a focus on customer satisfaction. The Stylist will follow customer service principles and apply techniques effectively, creatively, and efficiently. Utilize strong consultation procedures to ensure client expectations are exceeded as part of the Regis team. *Cosmetology License (Required)* Responsibilities Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying the appropriate service techniques. Educate clients about proper home hair care and recommend services and products to help maintain their hairstyle between visits. Employ best practices for customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. Provide quality consultations with each client, including stating the final price before the service begins. Complete required administrative tasks promptly (e.g., closing out a ticket on the POS system and scheduling appointments). Communicate effectively with clients, team members, leaders, and corporate support. Meet or exceed productivity standards set by Regis. Perform all services offered at the salon as needed and maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts, including potential night and weekend shifts. Attend all required technical training sessions and follow Regis policies as defined in the Handbook and salon procedures (e.g., banking, cleaning, disinfecting implements). Qualifications (KSAs) Ability to work as a team player and/or independently. Market yourself in the community and salon to grow your clientele. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service skills and multi-tasking ability. Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends. Physical requirements: may include bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting (10–15 pounds), and standing for extended periods. Experience Stylist-in-Training – Graduated 90 days or less away from cosmetology school completion. Stylist – valid, current cosmetology or barber’s license. Education Must maintain a valid cosmetology or barber’s license (or within 90 days of graduating). All Stylists and Stylists-in-Training must complete assigned Regis training. Participation in the Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) program and certificate of completion is required for all Supercuts Stylists/Stylists-in-Training. Work Location Onsite at Salon Location.
