Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Scheduler to join our staff in Hospital Scheduling at Citizens Memorial Hospital! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Hospital Scheduling coordinates and provides appointments for all our patients and offices with the least amount of conflict for all involved. To provide information for both physicians and patients in a most helpful and courteous manner. A typical day includes: answering calls from physician's offices and patients; scheduled surgeries, procedures, radiology examinations, respiratory examinations, and pre-operative teaching patients.- Communicates scheduling information to OR/OP, ancillary departments, and physicians via verbal and written communication, accurately preparing and distributing daily schedule and transference of information to the scheduling program.
- Provides efficient follow-up for physician orders, alerting office members and/or physicians of missing information and providing support on the phone and through facsimile communication.
- Demonstrates good communication skills, answers the phone, and the questions addressed in a pleasant, tactful attitude, and assists all callers in their requests, whether it pertains to scheduling or not.
- Education: High School diploma
- Experience: 1 year of customer service/scheduling
- Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
- 8:30a.m-5:00p.m
