Mobile Veterinarian | Your Set The Hours | No Non-Compete | Tampa, FL

Job Description

Job Description

Practice Medicine the Way You Always Hoped You Would! Stay Because You Love Us, Not Because Your Leashed To Us! We DO NOT believe in Non-Competes! Where you'll serve: Tampa, Lutz, Citrus Park, University & Clearwater - Florida & Surrounding Metropolitan Area.

Some of the most important moments in a pet's life happen at the very end, and they deserve a veterinarian who has the time to be fully present. At Heartstrings Pet Hospice, we bring gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to families right where their pets feel safest: at home, on a favorite blanket, surrounded by the people who love them.

We're looking for a Compassionate Veterinarian who wants to practice medicine that matters, without the pace and pressure of a traditional clinic. Here, you won't be watching the clock or rushing from room to room. You'll be sitting on living room floors, answering hard questions with kindness, and helping families say goodbye with dignity and peace. It's quiet, meaningful work, and the families you serve will remember you for the rest of their lives.

You'll practice independently on the road, but you'll never be on your own. Our team is built on the belief that the people who care for grieving families need care too, so we invest in your training, your growth, and your well-being from day one.

What Makes Heartstrings Different

• Care at the pace it deserves.

With just a few appointments a day, you'll have the time to listen, explain, and honor every pet's story. No double-booking, no rushing goodbyes.

• A Schedule Built Around Your Life

Choose from 2 to 5 Day-per-Week & Self-Managed Schedule Options Available while also enjoying the freedom of mobile practice, with room left over for the people and passions outside of work.

Work That Tugs at your Heartstrings in the BEST Way

• Every visit is met with gratitude. You'll end your days knowing you made one of the hardest moments in a family's life a little softer.

A team that has your back.

• Thoughtful onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and experienced colleagues just a phone call away mean you'll always have support when you need it.

Gentle Goodbyes. Great Pay. Your Schedule. NO Non-Compete!

At Heartstrings, we help pets and their families through life's most tender goodbyes with compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of home. We're looking for veterinarians who want to practice medicine that truly matters, with a schedule that fits their life.

Choose the schedule that works for you:

• 5-Day Full-Time: $135,000, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
• 4-Day Full-Time: $110,000, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
• 2 & 3-Day Full-Time & Self Managed Part-Time Schedules: Prorated Compensation Based on Your Schedule including Self Managed Scheduling Options Available called DVM Flex-Scheduling

Guaranteed compensation ranges from $65,000 to $155,000, depending on your schedule, which can range from two days per week up to full time.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Weekends on Your Terms. Instead of a fixed rotation, you'll choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life, so you can plan around family events, trips, and time off with confidence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
• To ensure the safety of the families and pets we serve, all candidates will complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review before their start date.
