Overview Occupational Therapist – Acute Care (travel) in Willows, California. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 07/20/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,348–$2,505 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days per week. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with an acute care focus. Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations for residents within the SNF/acute care setting to identify functional needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence.
• Administer therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on patient response and goals.
• Document assessments, goals, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in the medical record per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, Speech, nursing, social work) to optimize care plans and transitions of care.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and ongoing maintenance after discharge.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in California (or eligible for CA licensure)
• Experience or demonstrated capability in acute care and skilled nursing facility settings
• Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Ability to work autonomously within a travel assignment and meet assignment requirements
• Availability to start on 07/20/2026 and commit to a 13-week contract
